2010 The Second Annual Summer Jam All Volkswagen Car Show
Summer Jam is held on the Midway of Chilhowee Park on
Summer Jam will feature a huge display of air- and water-cooled Volkswagens vying for tops in their category, and include new and used parts vendors, swap meet vendors, children's activities, and games. Summer Jam will be filled with two days of planned events and cash giveaways.
The turnout for the show last year was better than expected with more than 125 registered vehicles and hundreds of spectators. Our goal is to continually grow Summer Jam each year with hopes of becoming the largest Volkswagen car show in the southeast. Dr. Fieldinggood
has decided to pay a housecall to Chilhowee Park for the weekend to make sure everyone laughs and has a great time! You know the good Dr. Fieldinggood from the infamous Bugapalooza in Chattanooga in the spring of the year. This year we convinced the good Dr. to migrate North and pay a visit to Summer Jam! Please be sure to stop by and welcome him to Knoxville.
Jammin' in the Park!
Saturday night KVMC will host a cookout for all sponsors, vendors, show participants, and their families. We will have a live band, brought to you by Pro Floor Tech. The band is Gypsi Road Show. Get a preview of their music at their MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/gypsiroadshow

The River 106.1 will be at Summer Jam 2010 on Saturday from 11:00 am til 1:00 pm! Be sure to stop by their remote broadcast booth and say Hi! Be sure to listen all week long for Summer Jam spots!

Summer Jam will be hosted by Knox Volks Motor Club in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Formed by four local VW enthusiasts in September 2007, Knox Volks Motor Club has grown to over 80-members and counting today. We are Knoxville's premier Volkswagen Club with a membership made up of a wide range of ages and abilities with an emphasis on VW knowledge and education, family and fun.

Got a car you want to sell? Bring it to Summer Jam and park it in the For Sale area.
$20.00 for both days
Please pre-register by July 15th to ensure your spot. After July 15th and at the gate, For Sale registration is $25.00 for both days.
Camping Is Available!
Camping will be available at Summer Jam. All camp site amenities will include access to bathrooms and showers. Please see the Hotels/Camping page for more information.
There are only 20 Full Hook-Up sites available. These include water and electricity. These spots will sell out fast -- so consider pre-registering.
Primitive camping will be available. Note, these sites will accommodate your VW bus, tent, or camper with no water or electrical hook-ups.
Camp sites will not be available until 5pm Friday, July 23th, 2010
Pets are Welcome
Your pets are welcome at Summer Jam! Please be advised that Knox County Ordinances require your pet be on a leash at all times. You must also pick up after your pet while at Summer Jam.
Parking
This Year Non-Show VDubs are Invited to “Park in the Park.”
Drive your VDub (water- or air-cooled) to the show and as a spectator you will be invited to park your non-show VW inside the gate at Chilhowee Park. A special parking section will be set up for spectator’s VDubs.

Free spectator parking will be available at Chilhowee Park. A map detailing parking areas will be uploaded to this site soon. There are several sites surrounding Chilhowee Park that chare a minimal fee.
